Anishinaabe Nation in Treaty 2 Territory
The Anishinaabe Nation in Treaty 2 Territory (ANT2T) is seeking to fill a term position as the Education Program Assistant.
The role includes providing administrative support, assisting with community engagement, and ensuring the smooth running of project activities under the supervision of the Earth Lodge Keeper.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in the organization and scheduling of community engagement sessions.
- Provide administrative support, including managing project documents and communications.
- Assist with tracking project milestones and preparing progress reports.
- Collaborate with the Life Long Learning Council to support their initiatives.
- Support the preparation and submission of funding applications and project updates.
- Strong technical and social media skills
Requirements/Qualifications:
- Diploma or certificate in a relevant field such as administration or education; and/or a combination of experience and education.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Experience in providing administrative support for projects, preferably in an educational or Indigenous context.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Knowledge of Anishinaabe culture, traditions and language is an asset.
- Successful candidate must submit a clear criminal record check as well as a clear child abuse registry check prior to start date.
Work Location:
- Hybrid – work from home, in-person meetings as required (various locations), Dauphin Government Building
- Local Nation engagement
